Jomsom Muktinath (3,760 m.) trek is one of the best treks inside Annapurna Conservation area. It is a popular religious site for Buddhist and Hindu pilgrims where thousands of pilgrims visit from all over the world every year. You can drive or flight to Pokhara and follow the Ghorepani Poon hill trek's itinerary till Ghorepani. Afterwards, the descending route goes to Tatopani through the Rolling terrace field and unique village of Magar settlement. Dense rhododendron and Magnolia forest are found here in abundance. You can enjoy of the great views of Dhaulagiri (8,167 m.), Annapurna (8,091 m.), Mt. Nilgiri range and other many mountains and Kaligandaki valley. Kaligandaki river here is one of the holiest rivers in Nepal. Walking along the riverside, you can observe Rupse waterfall, the deepest gorge in the world, Kalapani and Marpha., the most popular Thakali village in Nepal. The trekking route then goes along Kegbeni, the border of the Lower Mustang and Upper Mustang. Along the this trek you can visit many old monasteries and temples. The only one Bon Po monastery in Lupra Village is a treat to watch. Muktinath is a junction for the many other trekking routes like as Throng-la Pass (5,416 m.) and Upper Mustang. 
You may also choose to fly to Jomsom from Pokhara and climb up to Muktinath temple and descend all the way to Birethanti.
